We are not meant to do life alone

Developing meaningful relationships in a big church can be difficult. Smaller groups can nurture deeper connections. Our small groups are usually 8-12 people who meet regularly with the purpose of doing life, learning, and loving others together. These groups encourage us to live out the Great Commandment and Great Commission together.

Entry Points for Small Groups

Our small groups typically meet in homes all across the Barrie area on any day of the week for people of all ages and life stages. We have three entry points for Small Groups:

1.Join an existing Small Group
2. Try an eight-week H.O.S.T. Group
3. First Connect Small Group

H.O.S.T Groups

Interested in small groups at a more informal level? Do you know a few individuals or couples that you would enjoy getting to know better? Consider starting your own H.O.S.T. group.

H: have a heart for people
O: open your home
S: serve a snack
T: turn on the DVD

We would be happy to provide you with a H.O.S.T package and curriculum to get you started. Contact us to learn more about this option. (Janice.stone@emmanuelbarrie.org)

First Connect Small Group

If you’re not yet part of a small group, or are new to Emmanuel, this small group is for you. The eight-week curriculum is offered at the church three times a year, with the first and final week including dinner. Contact us to learn more about this option. Janice.stone@emmanuelbarrie.org
