Welcome! This page is designed to answer many of the questions you may have. If you don't find your answers here please feel free to contact any of our staff or any other ministry leaders as well. We are a family of believers in Jesus Christ. We are on a journey to know Christ and to make Him known. Our desire is to walk passionately the same way Jesus walked. We want to serve people like He served them. We want to teach God's words like He taught it. We want to make God look as good as He really is. Thank you for visiting our site. We hope that it helps you follow Christ. Do not hesitate to contact us: 705-728-3017 if you want to speak to someone in person or if you wish to meet with a pastor. Below we have tried to respond to some of our most frequently asked questions.
We exist to win, teach, and equip our world to passionately follow Jesus.

From June through September we have two identical morning services at 9:15 and 11:00am. From September to June, we have three identical Sunday morning services 8:15am, 9:45 and 11:15am. We also meet on the 2nd & 4th Sunday each month at 6:30pm. Please check the home page calendar to confirm service times and evening services.

Expect a friendly welcome, great music and sermons that are relevant, engaging and down to earth.

Expect your kids to love it.  The Woods (Grades JK-5) and the Creek (ages 0-4) are fun and safe environments for kids to explore and learn about God in ways that they will remember for years.

Expect to find people like you.  Dress comfortably.  Jeans are great - but so are suits.  Whatever you want to wear is fine with us.  And when you get here, expect to find people who don't have it all figured out, but like you, are on a journey. Feel free to be yourself.

We have a nursery and Sunday school for all ages. The Creek - made up of the "Critters" (0-24 months) and the "Explorers" (2-4 years), and the Woods (K-Gr. 5) meet down "Kids Lane.” If you need help, there are those who can assist you at the welcome desk located at the front entrance.
Our Jr High (Gr 6-8) and High School students meet at 9:45am on Sundays in the Youth Room.
Many of our people meet in small groups throughout the week. These groups give each person the opportunity to get plugged into Emmanuel by developing Christ-centred friendships.  However, there are numerous programs that give you opportunities to meet new people.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
Bible: We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God without error.

God: We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Christ: We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit: We believe in the absolute and essential deity and personality of the Holy Spirit.

Humanity: We believe that the human race was divinely created in the image of God as male and female persons; that they sinned, becoming guilty before God, resulting in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death for themselves and their descendants.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is by the sovereign, electing grace of God;  that justification is by faith alone in the all sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Satan: We believe that Satan is a created being, a fallen angel, who exists as an evil personality, who will, upon Christ’s triumphant return, be finally and utterly defeated.
