A place for moms with young children to be inspired and encouraged.

Bloom is a place for moms with young children to be inspired and encouraged. At Bloom, you can relax because you are among women who understand the unique joys and challenges of parenting in the early years. And, you’ll find support, practical tools from relevant speakers, and lots of laughs along the way.

We enthusiastically welcome all moms to attend! Spaces in childcare are extremely limited this season, and we will confirm your spot(s) in
mid- September.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who joins Bloom?

Any mom parenting a child from birth through senior kindergarten is welcome at Bloom. Women at Bloom are all ages, stages and walks of life. They might attend church or might not. Everyone is welcome. Moms from other churches who are interested in starting a similar group can get in touch with us!

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! If she’s a mom with a little one, bring her along. Let her know when registration opens, and the childcare expectations.

When is registration?

Bloom opens registration in early September each year. Spaces for childcare are very limited and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d like to join Bloom after registration has closed, contact us HERE for more information.

Is it a Bible study?

No. Emmanuel offers several opportunities for bible study on Sundays and throughout the week. Childcare is often offered, and all are welcome. There are studies offered for all levels of experience with Christianity.

What can I expect?

The meetings start with the fuel of motherhood – coffee and treats you didn’t make. We sit at the same table each meeting, and enjoy an encouraging speaker or relevant discussion topic. You can expect to be part of a caring and authentic atmosphere that helps women flourish in this stage of life.

Tell me more about the childcare…

Childcare during Bloom is staffed by an amazing team of carefully screened and trained adult volunteers. At Bloom, preschoolers will enjoy a structured program with crafts, songs, bible stories and a snack. Infants are separated into developmental stages, and are cared for by loving adults. Because parents are down the hall, we simply contact you if your child needs you.

Because we are diligent about adequate staffing, we only allot spaces in childcare according to how many volunteers we can recruit. Unfortunately, this means we often have a wait list for childcare spots. If you know an Emmanuel attender who’d like to volunteer in Bloom childcare, we’d love to hear from them!
