Steve grew up in Central America, a son of missionary parents. He has graduated from Moody Bible Institute, the University of Texas, and Dallas Theological Seminary. Steve met his wife Cathy at Moody and they married in 1985. From 1991-2000 Steve and Cathy served with TEAM as missionaries in Chad, Africa. He began ministry at Emmanuel in 2001. Steve and Cathy have three sons, Austin, David and Michael.
