Sundays For Kids – THE WOODS CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

“Where kids learn to trust God, make wise choices,  and build lasting relationships”

The Woods Children’s Ministry provides families with the safe, nurturing environment they want for their kids! The target in The Woods is for every child to experience life change, from the inside out, to look more like Jesus. We do this through worship, biblical teaching, friendship, and serving. We want kids to understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories but one eternity spanning story — God’s story of redemption for a lost world.

What to Expect On a Sunday

We have two identical services at Emmanuel, 9am and 11am with children’s programming provided at both.  Sign your kids into The Woods Children’s Ministry as you arrive, and pick them up after the service. Our paging system allows parents to attend the worship service worry-free.  Our volunteers are all screened and trained to provide the best care for your little ones.

Nursery (Birth – 2yrs)
Parents can actively participate in the services and programs of Sunday morning while our team of trained volunteers care for their children.

Pre-school (2 – 4yrs)
The Pre-school group offers programming for toddlers during the worship services. Children explore God’s love through stories, games and crafts.

JK-Gr 5
Our Sunday morning program for school-aged children runs simultaneously with our regular Sunday services.
